All in a day’s walk.
The archipelago of Malta, nestled between Sicily and the North African Coastline, is a few dog whiskers short of 16 Km from East to West, and walking across the island seems like a very good idea. But an even better pursuit is walking 16.8 km for a cause that you’re passionate about.
That’s exactly what Rachel Rowlandson and Libby Lloyd did when they used their GB3 Community Day to support the work of ‘Carla Lane Animals In Need’, a not for profit charity dedicated to promoting the prevention of cruelty to animals.
Rachel and Libby, huge canine fans themselves, spent a day with the team at Carla Lane, finding all about the important work the charity does. Not only that, but our very own GB3 ambassadors clocked up 26,534 steps and a distance of 16.88 km walking the dogs that Carla Lane currently care for.
